28% of Russian employers expect layoffs in 2023 forbes.

One in four employers said they won’t lay off employees until the end of 2023, and 27% even plan to expand their staff.

At the same time, a quarter of employees are looking for work, and 58% browse sites that are vacant from time to time.

It was previously reported that augmented the number of Russians who are not afraid to refuse the job after a successful interview. The most common reasons are low salary, inconsistency of job description with actual job, and unsuitable schedule.

Thus, 55% of Russians had to refuse to work after successfully passing all the tests. This is the highest figure in 8 years: during the year, the number of people who had experience rejecting an offer increased by 11 percent and almost doubled compared to 2020. Also, women say “no” more often than men after an interview (53% versus 57%).
