TASS: “Yandex” started recruiting at the center of the future in Turkey

Russian company Yandex has started recruiting for its future headquarters in Turkey since at least March 14. It has been reported TASS with reference to data from online recruitment platforms.

According to the agency, on March 15, the company posted an open position on the HeadHunter platform for a full-time “Technical Support Engineer” in Istanbul, and similar offers were also published in English on March 14. The agency, which is engaged in the development of network systems in the Yandex Cloud team and Yandex infrastructure, states that this gap will be possible from the future Turkey hub, as remote work is provided.

According to the agency, the Yandex website has a new office in Istanbul. At the same time, TASS points out that the new office is not yet mentioned in Yandex Maps and Google Maps services, but the previous office, which was closed a few years ago, had working hours in Google Maps.

Yandex’s press service reported that the future center has not yet opened, and the company will tell about this event in a timely manner.

Previously on Yandex saidHe said that the company’s new office in Turkey, which will include a co-working space and a full-fledged office, will target the teams that need to be in the country to develop services in the local market. The opening of the new center was scheduled for March 1.

Yandex office in Istanbul worked from 2011 to 2020. It was closed in September 2020 due to the pandemic.
