The Ministry of Economic Development has improved the real income forecast of the population and expects an increase in GDP and investment in Russia in 2023. This was expressed by the Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov in his speech at the congress of the RSPP, transmits RIA News.
“It is already clear that this year we will have economic growth, GDP growth and investment growth,” Reshetnikov said.
According to him, already at the end of last year it became clear that the Russian economy will develop more dynamically than previously thought. This is evidenced by the results of January and February, as well as last year’s indicators. In addition, indicators of growth in real incomes of the population have improved.
He added that the department is currently dealing with socio-economic development forecasting and working on possible scenarios. Therefore, the document will be ready in April.
