“In 2022, Russia bought about 782,000 Intel processors, which is 9% more than in 2021. Deliveries of another American manufacturer, AMD, fell by half to 143,000 units. One of the interlocutors said that the volume of supply of “other” companies (including China and Korea) increased by 2.5 times, reaching 102,000”.
The Federal Customs Service (FTS) said that in 2022, the total number of chips supplied to the country with 32 nanometer (nm) and below process technologies decreased by 0.7 percent to reach 1.03 million. Intel remains the leader in shipment count. Also in the top five are American Analog Devices, Texas Instruments, AMD (and its Xilinx) and Swiss STMicroelectronics.
