Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has proposed giving more opportunities to support public services at the expense of the National Welfare Fund (NWF). In this respect reported on the department’s website.
“The service developed a draft document aimed at modernizing housing and communal services. In the developer’s complex application, the resource supply company can establish engineering networks for technical connection to heat, water supply and sanitation, with the participation of the National Welfare Fund.”
According to the agency, with access to NWF funds, companies can build wider networks taking into account possible connections of objects in the future. In addition, only companies planning construction can reduce the fee for connecting to networks.
