Kyodo: Japan allocates $1.6 billion to aid Ukraine in 2022

In 2022, Japan set aside about 210 billion yen (about $1.6 billion) to aid Ukraine. It has been reported Kyodo.

The agency’s material states that this figure will be stated in the document on the results of Tokyo’s work towards official development assistance (ODA) last year. This amount includes funds, equipment and humanitarian aid transferred directly to Ukraine, as well as aid provided to neighboring countries hosting refugees.
