Germany understands that the destruction of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines will lead to a decline in the country’s economy. This opinion was expressed by the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Patrushev, in an interview with the newspaper. “Arguments and Facts”.

Patrushev reminded that Germany has been trying to build its economy on the basis of a combination of cheap energy sources from Russia and advanced German technologies for many years. Therefore, this country, like no other country, understands that the terrorist attacks that took place in the Nord Streams last summer will greatly affect its economy.

According to the secretary, Berlin is also aware that the close economic cooperation between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Russian Federation has never been to the liking of the United States and Britain.

And now Washington is pressing German officials to comply with the American version of the sabotage of the pipeline.

In the same interview Patrushev declarationThe United States and Britain have special forces for sabotage, as in Nord Streams.

Damage and gas leaks were recorded on three lines of Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 on September 26, 2022. Seismologists recorded two explosions along the gas pipelines. Russia’s FSB has filed a lawsuit over an international terrorist act. The Swedish prosecutor’s office launched an investigation into the events.
