Ukraine’s Deputy Head of Economy, Oleksiy Sobolev, said the ministry worsened the country’s 2023 GDP growth forecast. This was reported by the Ukrainian edition of Klymenko Time.
According to the deputy minister, Ukraine’s GDP growth will be only 1%, instead of the projected 3.2%.
He pointed out that the reason for this deterioration in the GDP growth forecast is the assumption that the conflict in Ukraine will not end by mid-2023, but will last “almost a whole year”.
Sobolev added that inflation should fall from 26.6% to 24% this year compared to 2022.
