“The readiness for commissioning of the nuclear power plant as a whole in accordance with the commissioning programs is envisaged in October 2023,” Karankevich said.
According to the official, the first trial connection of the second power unit to the grid will be made in April and the capacity of the plant will be increased to 40%. Studies will be carried out to bring the power of the reactor plant to nominal power with the tests carried out within the scope of pilot operation between April and September.
