Tinkoff Bank stopped making money transfers to Turkey after the sanctions imposed. It has been reported TASS in the support service of a credit institution.
“Unfortunately, we can’t send remittances to this country,” Tinkoff said.
They stated that SWIFT transfers may be frozen by the counterparty bank due to the restrictions imposed.
Asked about the possibility of sending money to Turkey, the bank said, “Therefore, we do not make transfers temporarily.”
Formerly Tinkoff suspended Currency transfers to Georgia as the correspondent does not process bank transfers.
In October 2022 this bank removed the option Make SWIFT transfers in foreign currency to Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Mongolia.
