MTS ecosystem revenue for 2022 exceeded 100 billion rubles

MTS announced its financial results for 2022 and reported an increase in ecosystem revenue – up 67% and exceeding RUB 100 billion, the company’s press service reported. Total revenue exceeded 541 billion rubles.

MTS President Vyacheslav Nikolaev said that the company’s strategy of developing an ecosystem of digital products on a powerful telecom platform once again confirms the relevance.

According to him, in general, at the end of 2022, MTS showed stable work in the face of the changing external situation.
Nikolaev also noted that MTS is strengthening its lead in B2B telecom in 2022.

“The company has the largest market share in M2M/IoT connections and Private LTE projects announced to the public. I would also like to note the growth in the direction of AdTech, the launch of the MTS Exolve platform, which allows customers to create their own services for effective communication,” summarized the MTS President.

Sergey Suverov, investment strategist of Arikapital Management Company, explained to socialbites.ca the company’s performance, that MTS trusts the ecosystem, digitalization and digital sales channels.

“MTS is growing in terms of number of ecosystem clients, digital sectors of MTS Media, MTS Entertainment, as well as areas and products such as MTS Travel, MTS Lines, MTS Cachback. This gives growth to the entire business,” says the publication’s source.

In addition, the expert emphasized that the company maintains its leading position in the B2B telecom system, which shows its stable position despite the high inflation in the country and the recession in the economy.

According to Suverov, MTS is one of the stable companies in Russia.

Trade123 Managing Director Vladimir Rozhankovsky agrees with this assessment. In an interview with socialbites.ca, the expert emphasized that the bet on the ecosystem has paid off – only in the fourth quarter of 2022 the company’s total revenue increased by 36%.

“The ecosystem is a “chip” of the company, providing it with great synergies, increasing its market grabbing speed, increasing its share, integrating many of the daily needs of consumers. The identity of a leading operator gives users the opportunity to log in and request many different services, for these customers appropriate, and this is a very interesting story,” concluded Vladimir Rozhankovsky.
