The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation said that in 2023 citizens of the Russian Federation living abroad will continue to receive pensions in Russian bank accounts or abroad in rubles. It has been reported TASS.

“This was done in connection with the ongoing strengthening of the sanctions pressure exerted by foreign states on the Russian banking system. This procedure was also valid in 2022.

The publication emphasizes that if an application is made to deposit money in an open bank account in the Russian Federation in 2022, then in 2023 a new account will not be required.

According to the law, the new rules will apply to citizens permanently living in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Lugansk regions at the time of admission to the Russian Federation. The law also applies to those who previously came to Russia from these regions.
