Lithuanian energy group Ignitis groupė announced its intention to donate 10% of its unplanned profits for 2022 to Ukraine. Relevant information is in the statement of Darius Maikstenas, Executive Director of the Ignitis groupė. ELTA.

“In 2022, the green production segment’s unplanned profit is 114.2 million euros, that is 12 million euros, or about 10% of this profit, which can be sent to Ukraine if the shareholders decide at the next shareholders’ meeting.” message says..

According to the statement, the allocated funds will be used to restore Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

At the same time, the executive director of the Ignitis group approached 56 energy companies around the world with a proposal to do the same.

Former Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko declarationthat power cuts are no longer planned in Ukraine, provided there are no new strikes on the infrastructure.
