From March 6, 2023, Raiffeisenbank will double the minimum amount of online transfers in foreign currency. As of this date, bank customers will not be able to send an amount less than USD 10,000 via the Raiffeisen-Online mobile application, reportedhttps://www.raiffeisen.ru/about/press/news/201876/ in a financial institution’s press release.

“As of March 6, 2023, the minimum amount of a transfer in foreign currency will increase. For transfers to Raiffeisen Online, the minimum amount for each transaction will be 10,000 USD or its equivalent in another currency at the exchange rate of the Central Bank of Russia at the date of transfer.

At the same time, in the case of transferring funds at a Raiffeisenbank branch, the minimum amount will depend on the specific currency of the account – 10 thousand US dollars, pounds sterling, euros or Swiss francs, 70 thousand Chinese yuan or 1 million Japanese yen, the press service concluded financial institutions.

February 18, Austrian banking group Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) annoyed the number and volume of currency transactions for all Russian banks, except for five players. At the same time, the financial institution did not specify for which banks of the Russian Federation they made an exception.
