Uruguay’s Ambassador to Moscow, Daniel Castillos, said that Uruguay wants to start exporting wine and honey to the Russian Federation, and that there is significant potential in these areas. It has been reported DEA News.

According to him, first of all, there are hopes in the field of wine products.
“Russia is looking for new suppliers,” said Castillos.
As the diplomatic mission official added, Uruguay has many small family wineries and there are serious prospects for export.
“We supply wine to different markets: to the USA, to Brazil, to the UK,” the source said.
He also pointed out that when discussing honey, the issue is raised not only of its supply as an edible product, but also of its derivatives – propolis, pollen used in cosmetics.
