“The number of small and medium-sized businesses reached 6.05 million in February, the highest level since mid-2019. Compared to the same period of 2022, their number increased by 150 thousand and compared to January 2023 by 60 thousand.
Several factors contributed to this development. One of the most important of these was the intensification of processes related to the development of the so-called “parallel imports”, as well as the reduction of negative emotions after the pandemic and sanctions. In addition, financial support from the state to businessmen and entrepreneurs has also increased.
