Ukraine’s Chernihiv District Prosecutor’s Office confiscated the real estate of enterprises producing cloth for more than $37 million, claiming that the beneficial owner is a Russian citizen. It has been reported RT Regarding the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.
“In the Chernihiv region, at the request of prosecutors, real estate properties of Russian enterprises were detained more than 1.37 billion hryvnia,” the report says.
The Prosecutor General’s Office claims that the enterprise buys raw materials in Belarus and supplies finished products there and on the territory of Russia. According to the ministry, the Russian owner allegedly withdrew part of the income to Russian accounts.
It was noted that the seized assets were prepared to be transferred to the National Asset Monitoring and Management Agency of Ukraine.
