German authorities plan to use pipes that were not used during the construction of Nord Stream 2 in the construction of a pipeline that will connect the liquefied natural gas terminal near the island of Rügen with the Lubmin community in the federal state of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. This is reported by the German edition. Welt am Sonntag with reference to sources.

According to the newspaper, the country’s government is discussing the purchase of about 3,000 unused pipes with Nord Stream 2. Part of the pipeline is now stored in the port of Mukran in Rügen. It was noted that the length of the new pipeline should be slightly less than 40 km.

Seymour Hersh, former American journalist and Pulitzer Prize winner declarationThat the administration of US President Joe Biden justified the need for the mission to undermine Nord Stream so that Europe continues to support NATO and participate in a proxy war against Russia.

Hersh believes the White House chief did this to prevent Germany and Western Europe from opening the pipeline at the onset of cold weather.
