The new, tenth EU sanctions package against Russia will be officially approved on the morning of 25 February. The agency reported Bloomberg refers to a diplomat.

“Official approval will only be received on Saturday morning in accordance with EU procedure,” the agency said, referring to a diplomat.

The agency said a group of member states has urged the bloc to step up its response to those helping the Russian Federation circumvent sanctions, including by trade measures.
