“The US Attorney for the Southern District of New York has filed a civil action for the confiscation of six properties located in New York, New York; Southampton, New York; and Fisher Island, Florida, at a cost of approximately $75 million. It is alleged that Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg’s usufruct property was obtained from sanctions violations and was involved in international money laundering operations.”

It was previously known that the United States Department of the Treasury. Additional blacklisted more than a dozen Russian financial institutions.
