On January 27, Dönmez said Ankara plans to start operating the proposed Russian gas distribution center project within a year. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov said on January 28 that Russia and Turkey started to discuss sensitive issues related to gas center security at the level of experts.
