The former chairman and founder of FTX cryptocurrency exchange Sam Bankman-Fried has been charged with four additional charges, the channel reported. CNN.
New York prosecutors reportedly replaced the new version of the indictment with the following numbers: conspiracy to run an unlicensed money transfer business, conspiracy to bank fraud, securities fraud, and fraud linked to the sale of derivatives. Thus, the total number of charges against the founder of the crypto exchange rose to 12.
Bankman-Fried faces up to 155 years in prison if found guilty on all charges.

In December 2022, the founder of FTX was accused of fraud and conspiracy to misuse funds from customers of the crypto exchange, which filed for bankruptcy last November.
