Ukraine’s Deputy Finance Minister Olga Zykova said that under an agreement with the European Union, the republic undertakes to repay the loans granted to it within 35 years. His words were quoted by the Ukrainian news agency UNN.

“The loan repayment period is 35 years,” said Zykova.

According to him, instead of Ukraine, the country’s European partners will pay interest.

“This is an example of how partners sympathize with our country’s debt burden,” said a representative of Ukraine’s finance department.

According to the official, in 2023, Ukraine will receive a grant of 10 billion dollars by the allies.
