Russia’s GDP in 2022 decreased by 2.1% – such preliminary estimates, Rosstat. At current prices, the volume of Russian GDP last year amounted to 151.4556 trillion rubles.
Production volumes increased in some sectors. Thus, an increase of 6 percent in the agricultural sector, 5 percent in the construction sector, and 4 percent in the military and social security sector was recorded. In the retail sector, there is a decrease of 13 percent, in the health sector – 3.4 percent. At the same time, net taxes on products were reduced by 10%.
The net export volume amounted to 19,762.4 billion rubles, the gross capital formation – 34,427.8 billion rubles.
At the same time, the Russian economy grew by 5.6% in 2021. The high growth rate is explained by the underestimated GDP dynamics in the 2020 crisis year.
