Russian Ambassador to Tunisia Alexander Zolotov said that the trade volume between Russia and Tunisia increased by 63 percent in 2022 and reached 692 million dollars. Wrote agency RIA Novosti.
“Trade volume in 2022 has increased significantly despite known artificial barriers. Zolotov reached $692 million in ten months, exceeding the same period of the previous year by 63%.”
The diplomat described the increase in the volume of trade between the two countries as a clear example of “the ability to interact successfully in the current challenging world situation”.
Zolotov also expressed the view that Tunisian goods – especially food and textile products – could replace European goods on the Russian market.
