Russian President Vladimir Putin said the departure of global brands from Russia left a “good legacy”. The President said this at the Strategic Initiatives Agency Supervisory Board meeting, reports DEA News.
According to Putin, the departure of foreign brands from the Russian Federation was taken very seriously by many, because people believed that “everything was going to collapse”, but that did not happen. The Russian leader said that the Russian business world can cope with the situation after the shutdown of global brands.
“No such thing happens. Our companies, our entrepreneurs receive referrals from these businesses on the line and continue this business and very successfully.”
In addition, Putin pointed out that many companies leaving the territory of the Russian Federation suffered heavy losses and regretted that they left the country.
“Many people, some of whom I know personally, do this without pleasure. Who wants to lose an established business where efforts and funds are invested? – said the Russian president.
The Russian President stressed that “it’s not even about money”, but “many people put their soul into it”.
