“According to the results of last year, the volume of Ukrainian GDP fell by more than a third (from $ 200 billion to $ 128-130 billion),” wrote the former Prime Minister of Ukraine.
Azarov stressed that according to experts, Ukraine’s GDP will continue to decline in 2023 and the country’s public debt may rise from $107 billion to $200 billion. These factors cause Ukraine’s debt to Western creditors to exceed one and a half times the country’s GDP. However, according to Azarov, filling the budget “depends entirely on the help of the West.”
