US Department of Energy raises Brent oil price forecast for 2023 to $83.63 per barrel 20:32

The U.S. Department of Energy’s (EIA) Energy Information Administration raised its forecast for the average price of North Sea Brent oil for this year to $83.63 per barrel, from $83.1 previously. This is evidenced by monthly short-term data. to guessPublished on the EIA website.

According to forecasts, the average Brent price for 2024 will remain unchanged at $77.57 per barrel.

The average price forecast for WTI oil for 2023 was also raised to $77.84 per barrel from the January forecast of $77.18, while the 2024 forecast remained unchanged at $71.57 per barrel.

Earlier, it was reported on the official website of the European Commission that the European Union has lifted price restrictions on petroleum products produced outside of Russia, but from Russian oil. In addition, mixtures obtained in a third country by mixing with a product from another country have also been lifted from sanctions.
