Sri Lankan Ambassador Janita Liyanage announces negotiations to obtain a loan for Russian fuel DEA News.

“The country’s previous president asked for a loan for fuel. Russia is very friendly towards Sri Lanka, including helping us and providing loans during the civil war in Sri Lanka. “But his request is still valid and is being discussed with the Russian government, now we are waiting for a decision from Moscow,” he said.

According to him, representatives of the Russian company Rosatom are expected to visit Sri Lanka. Liyanage expressed his hope that these negotiations will be concluded successfully.
