Igor Demin, Advisor to the President of Transneft, said that the transit of oil through Russia via the Druzhba pipeline from Kazakhstan to Germany is planned to start in February instead of January. Transmits words DEA News.
According to Demin, the program of pumping 500,000 tons of oil to Poland in the first half of the day on January 31 was actually completed and you can now start the transit of additional raw materials to Germany. But, according to him, “due to some inertia” Transneft’s partners need time to start working.
“These 20,000 tonnes of oil are currently scheduled for February and are no longer additional, at the same level as the volumes provided for supply to Poland through the northern branch of Druzhba,” Demin said.
Transneft also noted that everything is ready for the transit of the specified volume of oil: route instructions have been prepared and the necessary transit payments have been made.
At the end of December, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak declarationRussia will support the transit of oil from Kazakhstan to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline system.
