MEP Haider: EU sanctions in the energy sector will not lead to a decrease in Russia’s revenue 15:58

Roman Haider, Member of the European Parliament from the Austrian Freedom Party (APS), believes that European sanctions against Russia will not lead to a decrease in the country’s budget revenues, but will result in an increase in the cost of hydrocarbons. TASS.

Haider stated that the sanctions against the Russian Federation in the energy sector and the large increase in the costs of the European Union’s carbon certificates led to a rapid increase in oil and gas prices.

The MP described this leap as the consequences of the failed energy policy of the European Union. Reminding that the EU bought natural gas from Russia at a low price, ErdoÄŸan reminded that now expensive SPC and blue fuel should be purchased from the USA and Qatar.

Haider emphasized that sanctions in the energy sector will not lead to the collapse of the Russian economy, because now other states are actively buying their raw materials.
