Ministry of Energy of Ukraine: country imports small quantities of electricity from the European Union

Ukraine’s Energy Minister, German Galushchenko, said the country is currently importing small amounts of electricity from the European Union. His words were quoted by the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian edition of Klimenko Time.

As Galushchenko said, the import is small at the moment but has been going on since January 1st. Also, according to the head of the Ministry of Energy, the opportunity to purchase electricity was created for businesses, which “will affect the supply and possible limitations in supply.”

Galushchenko also noted that Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy expects to increase the volume of electricity imports in the future.
