Bloomberg: EU could save itself from energy crisis thanks to abnormally hot winter

Europe is expected to have the hottest January in recent years, which will alleviate the energy crisis that erupted in the EU a few months ago. It has been reported Bloomberg.

Maxar Technologies, the American company specializing in providing satellite services, expects moderate temperatures to continue across the region through the end of January. This is because a strong atmospheric front blocks the flow of cold arctic air.

Matthew Dross, the company’s meteorologist, emphasized that the first half of January could be one of the warmest in decades.

Maxar and the Weather Company forecast temperatures in Germany and France will fluctuate by 2-5 °C above normal through January 17. Therefore, heating demand in Europe may be below the ten-year average.
