According to Rosstat, prices rose the most in Ingushetia, with 10.8%, due to the 15.1% rise in food prices. In the Arkhangelsk region and the Republic of Khakassia, consumer prices also increased by more than 10% due to high prices of non-food products.

Prices in Moscow are 7.2%, St. Petersburg, on the other hand, increased by 7.7%.

Prices of food products increased by 6.73% and 17.99% year-on-year in March compared to February, while prices of non-food products increased by 11.25% and 20.34%, respectively. In March, service cost increased by 3.99% on a monthly basis and by 9.94% on an annual basis.

Products with increasing price

Onion, one of the vegetable and fruit products, rose the most in March – it was a 50.1% price increase. Behind him are white cabbage (39.8%), bananas (31.5%), carrots (29.5%), fresh tomatoes (27.4%) and table beets (24.7%) on the list of champions. On the contrary, the price of fresh cucumbers fell by 17.4%.

On average in Russia, granulated sugar has become more expensive by 44%, salt – 14.2%. Only in the Sakhalin Region and the Republic of Tyva the price of salt fell by 4.0% and 0.1%, respectively.

Rice prices increased by 12.9% on average, buckwheat increased by 10.2%, but in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region the price of buckwheat decreased by 1.1%.

The price of sunflower oil increased by 7.2%, but in the Magadan region prices fell by 3.5%.

Rosstat noted that the prices of fish, its delicacies and shrimp have increased, among other products. Canned vegetables for baby food, pasta made from premium wheat flour, noodles, millet, margarine, wheat flour, catering products (hamburger type sandwich), muffins, rolls, gingerbread, cookies, sweetened condensed milk, chocolates, marshmallows, marshmallows, caramel , juices, tea and coffee – 7.2-12.0%.

According to the study, the prices of electrical goods and other household appliances increased the most in March among non-food products. Thus, automatic washing machines 46.3%, refrigerators 35%, household stoves 27.5%, mixers and blenders 27.3%, sewing machines 26.6%, vacuum cleaners 26.2%, microwave ovens 26.2% It increased. 26%, electric irons 25.4% and electric kettles 21.4%.

TV and radio products and personal computers include USB flash drives (36.8%), monitors (36.6%), monoblock products (24.8%), TVs (22.9%), laptops (21%) ,6).

The price of life-saving and non-essential medicines increased by 15.3%. The price of essential drugs also increased by 4.9%.

Prices for blood pressure monitors also rose (13%), bandages (12.7%), disposable syringes (10.8%), medical thermometers (9.4%) and cotton (9%). Prices of sanitary pads (19.3%), diapers (17.5%), washing powder (16.4%), toothpaste (12.6%), toilet paper (12.5%) and matches (10.4%) increased.

Among other non-food items, jewelry increased by 36.4%, cameras by 33.7%, and new cars of foreign brands increased by 29.2%.

In March, among tourism and recreation services, holiday package prices in Turkey increased by 1.7 times, in Egypt by 47.4%, in United Arab Emirates by 39.3%, in sanatoriums by 1.4%, in rest houses, hostels and hostels. Sightseeing tours in Russia – 1.2%, bus tours – 1.1%.

Long-distance train journeys rose 1.7-10.1% during the month, while air travel in economy class – 7.2%.

At the same time, accommodation prices in hotels in the “two-star” category fell by 0.5% and movie tickets by 0.8%. Taxi prices also fell 1 percent.
