Russia will develop alternative ways to supply hydrocarbons to countries that do not support the imposition of price ceilings and other restrictions. About this RT declaration Vyacheslav Mishchenko, Head of the Center for Strategy and Technology Analysis for the Development of the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.

“Alternative pathways continue to develop. There are large consumers of hydrocarbons who do not support sanctions. For example, India, China and other Southeast Asian countries. “They are priority markets for us,” Mishchenko said.

According to him, the position of not providing energy resources to countries that support the sanctions is very correct. Russia will not play such games and will not take into account the price limit for deliveries.

He added that the introduction of such restrictions only destroys the market and the pricing mechanism that has shaped for decades.

Earlier on Sunday, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov declarationRussia will not supply its oil at prices set by the West. The minister noted that the ceiling price imposed by Europe on Russian oil “will cause distortions in prices and in the market”. According to him, tomorrow Western countries may set ceiling prices for other producers that Moscow cannot accept.
