The staffing service “Rabota.ru” conducted a survey revealing the motives of Russians to save on salaries, reports TASS.
According to the survey, which included more than 3,000 respondents from all regions of Russia, 47% of surveyed residents said they saved money to have a “safety pillow,” compared to 44% in August last year. In addition, a third of those surveyed save money to buy real estate, another 26% – for vacation or travel.
17% plan to set aside savings for repairs, 16% for treatment, at least for jewellery, expensive clothing and tools (3% each).
Almost every second respondent – 45% – said they save less than 10% per month, another 32% save 10-20% of their monthly income, 11% of survey respondents – 20-30% of their income, only 3 of them stated that they save. % manage to save more than half of their income.
