Ukraine evaluated the situation in terms of energy supply. Sergei Kovalenko, CEO of YASNO energy supply company, which is part of DTEK’s energy holding, said that the most difficult situation is currently experienced in the capital, where 60 percent of transformers are not working. writes about it TASS.
Kovalenko added that no change for the better should be expected in Kiev. “The situation with deliveries in Kiev today is the most difficult in the country,” said Kovalenko.
According to a representative of the energy supply company, the main problem is not in electricity generation, but in the grid.
“The grid does not work when 60 percent of the transformers are missing. It is impossible to supply electricity where there is zero instead of equipment,” he said.
Due to damage to high-voltage equipment, Kyiv is unable to draw electricity from the country’s electricity grid. With more damage, the situation will get worse.
