The consumer protection organization Public Consumer Initiative (CPI) has proposed banning in Russia the activity of all Internet freight collectors with foreign participation, who can transmit information about the movement of goods and cargo to Western intelligence agencies. The head of OPI cited the example of German IT company Transporeon, which offers customers a digital logistics platform – a paid cloud service for finding and transacting counterparties.
“This platform is characterized by a large number of violations related to the processing and storage of personal data of Russian legal entities and individuals hosted on servers in Germany. At the same time, among the customers of this platform are the largest domestic companies from various backbone industries.
