Moldovan leadership has instructed the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) to revise electricity and heat tariffs based on the rising cost of natural gas. The relevant decision of the Emergency Situations Commission (CoES) has been published at: area Moldovan government.
It is stated that CoES has ordered ANRE to make an extraordinary adjustment in electricity and heating tariffs within three days. According to the statement, the revision will be made on the basis of the current price and the components in the tariff, using the current purchase price for primary fuel.
