President Sandu: Moldova will destroy the gas it bought from Gazprom

Moldovan President Maia Sandu said that Moldova has the right to decide for itself where to store and how to use the gas it receives from Gazprom. Sandu said this on the broadcast of the TV channel. TVR Moldova.

“The purchased Russian gas is our property. It is Moldova’s property as long as we pay for the gas. We decide when and how we spend it and where we store it.”

At the same time, the president complained that the Russian company “does not fulfill the terms of the contract.”

“It is obvious to me and other citizens of the country that the concern is not fulfilling its contractual obligations. It violates them,” Sandu remarked.

Regina Apostolova, former member of the Shor party faction in the Moldovan Parliament judicial Chisinau’s intention to sue Gazprom as a provocation against Moscow. Apostolova admitted that her party boycotted the meetings because “they deemed these actions inappropriate”. According to him, the actions of the official Chisinau are aimed at the final destruction of relations between Russia and Moldova.
