Businessman Alisher Usmanov received the Boss of the Year award at the Russian Creative Awards 2022. “Central News Service”.
The jury members of the award – outstanding domestic cultural figures – determined the winner of the nomination “Boss of the Year”, Russian businessman Alisher Usmanov. At the same time, as part of the presentation of the award, it was noted that the businessman founded the Arts, Science and Sports Charity Foundation in 2006. Its purpose was to support initiatives in these areas and strengthen the image of the Russian creative industries abroad.
“The jury of the ceremony noted the contribution of the Russian entrepreneur to the local science, education, culture and sports fields, as well as the promotion and preservation of Russian culture abroad,” the message said.
In this nomination, it was noted that the award was presented by the director Andrey Konchalovsky. He emphasized the importance of one of Usmanov’s projects, in which he organized the teaching of the Russian language permanently in his small homeland of Uzbekistan. At the same time, Usmanov himself could not participate in the award. Fatima Mukhedzhan, director of the Arts, Science, Sports Foundation, received the award for this.
Recall that the Russian Creativity Awards are the only cross-industry awards in the world that unite all existing creative industries. It identifies the brightest projects and professionals of the creative industry in Russia in 10 categories, including Person of the Year, Discovery of the Year, Event of the Year, Creative Space of the Year, Digital Project, Educational Project and others.
