“JSC Moldovagaz ensured the transfer of the specified debt ($ 20.49 million – socialbites.ca) to Gazprom PJSC, thereby fulfilling its obligations to pay advances (for new volumes) to the natural gas supplier,” Cheban wrote.
According to him, the final payment to Moldova for November increased due to changes in the gas consumption structure on the right bank of the Dniester. As a result, the total volume of natural fuel use in the republic almost doubled from the original 52.11 cubic meters to 102 million cubic meters. But despite this factor, the local energy company managed to close the necessary debt to Gazprom.
