The State Duma approved the law on the 2023 federal budget and the planning period 2024-2025 in its third, final reading. Vyacheslav Volodin, head of the lower house of parliament, described it as the most difficult in recent years, informs newspaper “Vedomosti”.
“This budget is the most difficult in recent years: it is almost impossible to predict the sanctions, the development of the global economy. The task of preparing the budget in such conditions is to ensure its flexibility, and at the same time its reliability, ”said Volodin.
A similar point of view was previously expressed by Finance Minister Anton Siluanov and State Duma deputy Andrei Makarov. According to him, at the second reading of the budget, the committee received 750 amendments, and the total amount of redistributed funds amounted to about 2 trillion rubles.
