The head of the tank farm stole 380 tons of petrol

In Yugra (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug), the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained the head of the oil depot, who managed to steal 380 tons of fuel from the facility entrusted to him. The damage amounted to about 15 million rubles, and the unfortunate boss appropriated all these funds. He worked at the oil depot for a little over a year – the “leak” occurred between February 2020 and March 2021.

All the while, the 32-year-old head of the base carefully concealed the actual presence of fuel on the base from management and provided false information to the accounting department, the MIA Media website writes.

The enterprising businessman exported the fuel “saved” in this way on the company’s fuel truck, after which he sold it to various companies for cash.
