Passenger car imports from EU and South Korea to Russia recover, writes “Kommersan”.
According to the publication, cars worth €20.5 million were delivered from the EU in June and $59.4 million from Korea in July.
New South Korean automobile imports were $22.2 million in June, while deliveries in July were $59.4 million, up 2.6 times from June.
In June, China delivered slightly more cars to Russia than the EU and South Korea for $30.8 million.
Earlier, Ilya Ivansky, head of the service department of the Fresh Auto car dealership network, in an interview with the Prime agency declarationAlmost all auto services in Russia have a shortage of components.
According to him, parallel imports are not yet fully operational. As the expert pointed out, only 10-15% of the spare parts needed for the Russian market are imported into the country. In this context, the share of non-original spare parts is increasing (growth from 20% to 50% as of mid-July), also spare parts in use increased.
