Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law simplifying the registration of the right to park parking spaces in shared ownership. The document was published on: official portal legal proceedings.
The law was developed in line with the decision of the Constitutional Court in April 2023 and aims to provide legal protection to parking lot owners. As explained by Sergei Gavrilov (KPRF), chairman of the State Duma Committee on Property Issues, now the shareholder of the common ownership of a parking lot will be able to allocate the parking area to a separate property. The new law allows you to invite a cadastral engineer who will draw up a technical plan containing an exact definition of the boundaries of the future parking area.
The expert must take into account the design documentation of the building and documents confirming the ownership of the share, and then issue a notification of allocation. The notification must specify the contact information of the shareholder, information about the cadastral engineer, the cadastral number and address of the parking lot, the layout of the allocated parking area, the procedure for familiarization with the technical plan and the objection period.
