“We recently spoke with Sollers about the possibilities of electrification of the model range. They want to introduce hybrid technology only for their pickup trucks. I believe that hybrids in Russia are much more promising than electric cars, especially for those living outside big cities. So some kind of support for demand for them will definitely appear in the near future,” Manturov said.
The automaker now produces ST6 pickups at the former Mazda plant in Vladivostok. The car is a rebranded Chinese model JAC T6. The five-seater pickup truck is equipped with a gasoline power unit with a capacity of 176 hp. The car received a six-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel drive system. The body structure of the car is frame. The dimensions of the cargo compartment are 1520x1520x470 mm, the payload of the version is 820 kg. The maximum speed is 150 km / h.
The pickup is available in two trim levels – Basic and Comfort. The basic equipment of the pickup includes two airbags, air conditioning, cruise control, on-board computer, audio system, electrically adjustable side mirrors and power windows, heated front seats and rear parking sensors. The Comfort version includes a multimedia system with six speakers and a large touch screen, as well as a rear-view camera.
