The Turkish biker who caused the death of blogger Tatyana Ozolina, nicknamed MotoTanya, could face up to 6 years in prison. reports Life with link to Shot Telegram channel.
“First of all, according to local laws, the biker will be tried for the crime of manslaughter. Onur Obut will most likely be tried under Article 85 of the Turkish Penal Code; the maximum sentence under this article is 6 years in prison. At the same time, the term may be shortened if mitigating circumstances arise in the case,” the message reads.
Lawyers also predict that the court will sentence Obut to at least two years of probation. If he does not break the law in the next five years, his criminal record will be removed from his personal file.
