The management of the American company General Motors (GM) said in July 2022 that the waiting list for the Hummer EV electric SUV is 17 years. Reported by The Wall Street Journal.
According to the publication, dealers have collected about 77,000 orders for the Hummer EV, but the GM auto plant is only able to produce 12 vehicles per day. Such a small amount is due to the lack of electronic components and batteries for assembling an electric vehicle.
Hummer SUVs were produced from 1992 to 2010. The revived Hammer was shown in 2021 and the new model is already an electric car. The top version of the car is equipped with three electric motors with a total power of 1000 hp. The power reserve is 550 km. The starting price of the Hummer EV is $ 84,650 (4.5 million rubles).
