Putin promised to help veterans of the Northern Military District who lost their legs 22:20

Veterans who lost their legs during a special military operation in Ukraine will be given special manually controlled vehicles. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the head of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, Anna Tsivileva.

Tsivileva’s proposal concerns military personnel whose legs have been amputated; they need special cars that can be controlled only with their hands. Tsivileva added that such cars should be included in the list of rehabilitation vehicles for disabled Russian veterans.

“We will assume that this issue has been resolved,” Putin said.

Before that, the head of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation Anna Tsivileva statedWe think disabled special operations heroes are the future of the Paralympic movement.

According to Tsivileva, the foundation is actively working to ensure that as many veterans of the Northern Military District as possible can engage in adaptive sports. She emphasized that this is important for effective rehabilitation and socialization.

Previously, a Ukrainian surrendered to a Russian and for three days treated his wounds.
